Testimonials

Please note that the following testimonials are collected, supplied and maintained by Linda Chee Physiotherapy and Pilates Studio.

Bianca ,
I went to see Linda Chee for treatment after having a prolapse from the birth of my first child. Linda taught me the functionality of the pelvic floor and the role those special muscles play in core strength, posture and continence. With Linda's education, physio treatment and pilates exercises, I was able to get my pelvic floor muscles working again. I am extremely happy with our progress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Sports Injuries and Work Related Injuries

Typical sports injuries may be from overuse causing strain to the muscle, sprained ligaments, meniscal tears right through to dislocations and fractures. Sensible and appropriate immobilization of the affected part, ice, elevation, taping are all things that a physiotherapist may have to deal with. Also, referring onto various medical and emergency professionals is all in a days work. Restoration back to optimum health of the tissues is necessary together with return to the relevant sport.
Many job situations are rather like the goals above especially when it comes to chronic back or neck injuries.

Postural Exercises

Exercise to correct postural imbalances is extremely important for the growing child. This is equally so for the office worker to correct their posture in prolonged sitting. Often the most important aspect is to be “on the move”.
Posture is not static.

Neck and Thoracic Pain

Headaches (those that originate from the cervical spine), stiffness between the shoulders, nerve root irritation are all areas that may need mobilizing, stretching and stabilizing.

Back Pain

Back pain affects about 85% of the population at some stage in their life.
Linda treats back pain with a background in a number of techniques and will most likely send you home with increased knowledge and strategies to practice at home.
“Core Strength” is important to stabilize the chronic back.
”Flexibility” is what is needed to free up the stiff spinal segments.
