Faye is a qualified Aromatherapist and Pilates instructor she is affiliated with The Australian Pilates Method Association (A.P.M.A.). Faye participated in rehabilitation Pilates for four years under the supervision of a physiotherapist after suffering a back injury. She was so impressed with the results that she decided to complete her Pilates instructor training at Spring Pilates in North Sydney (2006). Upon completing her training she was fortunate enough to work at Nowra Pilates for a year under the mentorship of Dorothy Curnow, a Pilates Trainer at the University of Technology, Sydney. Faye believes that Pilates is an invaluable tool for anyone who wishes to function at their best both mentally and physically and that Pilates greatly improves posture, strength, endurance and self image. Fayes goal is to provide clients with varied and challenging workouts utilising the mat, small equipment, wunda chair, reformer and trapeze table

Rebecca is a Fully Comprehensive Clasical Pilates Instructor certified through Peak Pilates as well as a Gyrotonic Level 1 and 2 Certified Trainer. She begun her Authentic Pilates journey at The New York Pilates Studio London in 2000, working initially on reception to support herself through Drama School. Here ignited her passion for Authentic/Classical Pilates. She has since been actively involved in the body conditioning industry both in Australia and the UK, in private Pilates studios and Gyms. Rebecca possesses a desire for high standards in order to implement positive change both mentally and physically. Prepare to work hard and push your limits. Jodie has worked as a personal trainer as well as a Gym and Aerobics instructor. Jodies other passion is the sport of Muay Thai (kickboxing) having competed both locally and nationally. Kirsten is the owner of Pilates for life. Kirsten qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of the Witwatersrand Johannesburg, (South Africa) in 1995. She also completed a post graduate certificate in Sports physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) in 1997. Kirsten has worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in South Africa, England and Australia. In my treating patients with Back and neck pain as well as sports related injuries Kirsten realised the importance of core stability, flexibility and muscle balance to prevent the reoccurrence of injuries, therefore Pilates seemed the perfect exercise method for her patients. Whilst working at a Sydney private practice with a Pilates studio Kirsten saw the amazing results clients obtained through Pilates. She started attending mat and reformer classes with Helen Tardent at Pilates moves in Double Bay. Kirsten completed her own Pilates training Through Michael King and the Australian fitness network in 2003 and began teaching Pilates to clients in need of rehabilitation. Kirsten is a specialised Pregnancy Pilates teacher and a women's Health Physiotherapist. Kirsten has Tutored at Newcastle University to both Undergraduate physio Students and Post-graduate Physiotherapists and nurses. Since becoming a mother in 2002 Kirsten's main interest has been in women's health. In 2003 She developed a pregnancy exercise program called fit 4 2 which focuses on safe exercises for pregnant and post-natal women. As well as teaching pregnancy pilates the Fit -4-2 program empowers pregnant women with Birth Skills and techniques to cope with pregnancy , labour and birth. Kirsten is a proud mother of two children. Kirsten's Physiolates classes are designed for those who need a physiotherapist's advice and supervision in their Pilates classes Kirsten's aim is to provide safe and effective Specialised Pilates classes for everybody: Pregnant and Post natal ladies (Fit 4 2), those with injuries ( Physiolates) and men and women of all fitness levels.

What exactly is Pilates ?

Pilates exercises as a whole develop strong abdominal, back , butt and deep postural muscles to support the skeletal system and act as what Pilates called the "Powerhouse" of the body. The Pmethod works to strengthen the core, lengthen the spine, increase body awareness,build muscle tone and increase flexibility. Pilates is also an excellent Rehabilitation system for back, neck, shoulder, knee, hip and repetitive strain injuries. Pilates addresses the body as a whole correcting the body's asymmetries and chronic weaknesses to prevent injury and bring the body back into balance.
